Mayra is a first-generation, formerly undocumented Latina born in Guadalajara, Mexico, and raised there until the age of 14. She earned her Master of Science in Clinical/Counseling Psychology from California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB). Her person-centered, trauma-informed practice is grounded in cultural sensitivity and healing justice. She is deeply committed to supporting immigrant and underrepresented communities through mental health advocacy and compassionate, culturally responsive care.
